Bamboo clothes

I've never worn any kind of clothes that are made from bamboo, but I was just looking for a few things online and found bamboo underwear, socks and a skirt that all seem like a good deal.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with bamboo clothes, how do they feel, how well do they wash, do they last well?

Also how sustainable are they really, I don't have any idea about how bamboo is farmed, but much better than cotton I guess?

I've had various bamboo socks, underwear, and a couple of t-shirts.

I really don't remember any difference about washing them or how long they lasted from cotton or any other fabric, but I destroy socks incredibly quickly whatever they are made from (don't ask, I don't know why). They all felt really nice and soft though,

No idea about the sustainability really, but as you said, probably a lot better than cotton.

I never had any bamboo clothes either yet, but everyone says it feels really nice.

Thought have organic, sustainable clothes that are not crazy expensive, and they have some really nice bamboo things.

Looks cool, the company has a very informative sustainability information and looks transparent.

I don't have experience with bamboo clothing, but might try something out.

Many of clothes are blend materials with bamboo and can be made for different uses, usually it doesn't require a special care and it is a plus.

In Lithuania we have a couple of companies which produce high quality and sustainable fabrics, and I just realized I use some blends with bamboo. By looking up what kind of fabrics they use in general I found that some cellulose comes from wood waste & bamboo and even coffee grounds!

There are a lot of sustainable clothing companies in the EKO Diena Directory - they might not all have stuff made from bamboo but I've definitely seen quite a few that do, and there are some other unusual materials as well, like cork leather and pinatex.
