I feel like some of the points that are against a move from animal meat to lab-grown meat or no meat at all, are not really so important.
Of course the part about economic impact is important to those famers right now, but that is really small compared to the bigger picture and the damage to the environment that high levels of animal farming produce. These famers can be helped to transition to growing sustainable crops, with government subsidies if they are needed.
