Julie Brooks-Girskiene We don't celebrate. But if we would we would use pumpkins which are nice to eat and would bake pumpkin cakes, make soup, pancakes and freeze the leftovers for later. As well I don't like too many decorations so we would use a reasonable amount of decorations. As well you could collect many colourful leaves in advance. Use the the same lights like for Christmas. Make costumes from the waste you have at home and use eco friendly paint.
ANd actually healthy bakery is nicer than candies. Would be a good example.
Anyway I guess you need to be an American to fully understand Halloween ๐
In Lithuania we already have similar celebration Uลพgavฤnฤs. So I am a bit sad that a similar nice tradition is shading because of Halloween.
I like Mexican Dia del Muertos, I think it has a very nice way to remember people we lost.
