Almost everything is a contributor to deforestation so I would assume the rules on this are going to be pretty lax and only the case for very extreme cases.

I guess that it is for the worse offenders and that it would allow all of those products if they can show that the forests are actually managed and that trees are replaced instead of just being reduced in size all of the time.
Yes, from what I've read it's very much about promoting sustainable forestry and agriculture more than just not using any products that come from forested areas.
