How is the situation with food waste at your house? ♻️ 🥕
We are quite good at it in general, but sometimes some fruit and veggies stay too long…. And some peels or a bit 'out of date' pieces need to go to the bin.
Do you have a compost jar at home?
Nothing as green as a compost jar. But we're pretty good at making sure that everything in the house gets used. We very rarely have to throw any things out.

That is very cool! 🙂 We don't have any prepared food waste as well, but still trying figure out out some green waste, maybe will get a compost jar!

Actually we don't really have a lot of organic waste at all… but we use compostable bags, they are made from food waste and the organic matter makes composting process to start already in our bin 😃

That sounds like it would smell as well, I do like the idea of compost but I really don't like the idea of smells in my kitchen.
I try very hard not to throw anything away but still seem to end up with bits of stuff that are not good for anything except the compost 🙁
