I'm curious if anyone here has tried, or knows much about, vermicomposting?
It's basically the idea of using worms to reduce your rubbish to compost instead of just letting it decompose on its own. You have a box filled with a lot of worms, you throw in your vegetable food waste and they eat it and break it down, leaving basically soil and some liquid, and they actually do it very efficiently.
The good thing about it is that it produces much less smell than traditional composting so you can do it in a small garden or even indoors without a problem.
But I have also read that the worms create a lot of greenhouse gases during the process, so I don't know if it actually so great for the environment or not actually.
