What other green forums and groups you all are active in, apart from here?

I used to be on Facebook and I was in a lot of groups there that had busy discussions. When I left it I saw a lot of the forums and groups that I find really do not have any active members or good discussions.

So Veli well I am a member of one zero waste group in facebook, but it is a bit disturbing because of he group members attitude which is lacking simple respect. But some of discussion topics are truly great.

I tried alreanative social media cake.co, but there is aswell like in the most forums not so much of action.

So Veli well in my opinion it is very important that people would express their point of view and ideas, but it is possible to do so without offensive and judgemental way.

For example I love swimming, hiking but I am truly not a yoga person and many times it was asked - but you don't eat meat, how come you don't do yoga? 😁😁😁 P.s. I tried different yoga types. We people have interesting mindsets 😊

I have just left an eco living facebook group for exactly this reason, there is no justification for online bullying.

I subscribe to some sites and some times I comment on articles on news or blog sites but I'm not in any other green forums or groups.

I am not in many groups but I never had any problem on Facebook like people are talking about here.

Some groups I joined during the last years and maybe the situation with pandemic had effects on people, some became angry, upset and didn't have the space their to express themselves so social media became the place.

I am following a couple of FB groups one is zero waste and some about nature & home schooling. In ZW group sometimes, but not often write some comments and find some ideas. And forum experience is just this.

Facebook in general seems to be less friendly than most Internet forums. It is odd, too, because you would think that people would be more likely to be respectful on Facebook since their real-life identities are associated with what they say

Well most of the time we are 'brave' online, but not so much in reality. It might be some online groups, forums, comments under the articles, ect. The culture aspect is not so pleasant sometimes. Hopefully here we will manage to keep it civil even having totally different opinions😁

Yes, I think this is true, and I don't know if I should be relieved or scared by it.

Is that how nasty and uncaring many people always were in their private thoughts?

If that is true, then it is quite scary but maybe it is also a relief to actually know what people are thinking instead of hiding it under a screen of fake niceness.
